Your Paper Trail

Documentation
& Logs.

If it isn’t written down, it didn’t happen — that’s how fire marshals and insurance adjusters see it. Every shift we work produces a log you can hand to anyone who asks.

What goes in our fire watch log

  • Facility address and the areas or systems covered
  • Patrol route and the time of every round
  • Each watch person’s name, shift start and end, and signature
  • Communications with the fire department, alarm company, and site contacts
  • Hazards found and what was done about them, with photos when useful

Why it matters

Fire departments commonly require the fire watch log to stay on site and be available for inspection. Insurers may ask for it after a loss. A clean, complete log protects your permit, your claim, and your schedule. Log copies are delivered to you at the end of every deployment.

Documentation & Logs FAQ

Can you use our facility’s log form?

Yes. If your fire department, owner, or insurer has a required form, we’ll use it. Otherwise we use our own log that covers everything typically required.
